Through The Better Future Collective, we support girls at Sneh Girls Shikshan Sansthan in Luniyawas, on the outskirts of Jaipur. The school provides a safe and supportive place for girls to learn, grow in confidence and access opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.
We recently received an update from the school, and wanted to share a little glimpse of what the girls have been up to over the last few months.
Celebrating Guru Purnima
At the end of July, the girls celebrated Guru Purnima, a day dedicated to recognising teachers and mentors.
The students marked the occasion with messages, activities and performances, while reflecting on the role teachers play not only in education, but in building confidence, discipline and ambition.
It was a lovely reminder that school life at Sneh goes far beyond the classroom.

Independence Day at Sneh
On 15 August, the school celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with flag hoisting, songs, speeches and cultural performances.
The day gave the girls the opportunity to think about what freedom means in their own lives, including the freedom to learn, express themselves and dream about their futures.
For the girls at Sneh, education is a huge part of that freedom.

More than just school
Alongside lessons, Sneh places a strong emphasis on confidence, creativity and wellbeing.
Throughout the year, the girls take part in activities including reading, dance, craft, computer education, sport and cultural celebrations. These moments help create a school environment where the girls can feel supported, build friendships and grow in confidence.
There are lots more events ahead too, including Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day, Basant Panchami and Republic Day as the school year continues.

A thank you from us
The Better Future Collective was created to bring together brands and individuals who want to support girls’ education in India.
Through the Collective, sponsorship helps cover essentials including tuition, food, uniforms, stationery, notebooks and school bags.
To everyone who supports the Collective, thank you. These updates are a lovely reminder of what that support looks like in everyday school life.
Together, we really can do more.
