About Kapara
Kapara creates collections for babies, children and the home, inspired by a long-standing connection to Jaipur and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship.
Founded in 2015, the brand grew from relationships built over more than two decades in India. Jaipur has been central to the Kapara story from the very beginning. It is where our fabrics are printed, our quilts are stitched and where many of our closest partnerships have been formed.
We are not simply a brand that produces in Jaipur. Jaipur is part of our story.
Working directly with artisans and small workshops across the city, we create products that celebrate traditional textile techniques while feeling at home in modern family life. From hand block printing and embroidery to quilting and tailoring, every piece reflects the skill and experience of the people who make it.
We choose to keep our network of suppliers small and work closely with the same trusted partners year after year. Regular visits and long-standing relationships allow us to remain connected to every stage of the process, from the first design ideas through to the finished product.
Our collections are designed to be lived with. Pieces for newborns, children and the home that bring comfort, character and craftsmanship into everyday life.
Alongside Kapara, we established The Better Future Collective, an initiative that supports girls' education through a school in Jaipur. It reflects our belief that meaningful relationships should create lasting impact beyond the products themselves.
At the heart of Kapara is a simple idea. Beautiful things are made by people, and the relationships behind them matter.
We are proud of our roots in Jaipur, proud of the artisans we work with and proud to create products that carry their stories into homes around the world.
