Our Story

Kapara London was founded in 2015 by Daisy Fellowes and is a lifestyle brand for women and children that unites the vibrant colours and patterns of India with the classical shapes and styles of British design.

Her collections are a combination of one of pieces that she has sourced whilst in Jaipur and products that she has designed from scratch. 

Daisy has a BA in fashion design but has always been particularly interested in artisanal textiles and how it is used in different cultures.

Daisy has spent the last 10 years splitting her time between Jaipur and London. During her first 3 month stint in Jaipur she spent her mornings teaching English and maths at the Taabar Street Children Shelter and the afternoons working on the brand. Social enterprise continues to be at the heart of her business and she has set up a couple of projects that support children's education in Jaipur.

Today Daisy and her family spend 5-6 months of the year living in Jaipur. She is in a unique position that enables her to spend quality time working directly with her network of artisans on a daily basis.
