At Kapara London, Daisy has intentionally chosen to keep her circle of suppliers small, working mostly with trusted partners in Jaipur. This allows her to visit them regularly while in India, ensuring close relationships and consistency in every collection.
Kapara collaborates with both certified and non-certified factories. The smaller, family-run workshops often focus on artisan techniques where formal certification is not only costly but also ill-suited, as the culture of craft-making does not align easily with rigid factory standards. In these cases, Daisy relies on her long-standing partnerships, regular visits, and first-hand knowledge to personally vouch for their fair and ethical practices.
Since 2024, Kapara has also partnered with two larger SEDEX-certified factories for the production of sleepwear and selected homeware. Their scale makes certification feasible, and both are committed to sustainability — running entirely on solar power and collecting and recycling rainwater to minimise environmental impact.
