THE BETTER FUTURE COLLECTIVE

The Better Future Collective was founded by Daisy to support girls’ education in Jaipur. Working with Sneh Girls Shikshan Sansthan, the collective helps fund free schooling for girls in Luniyawas, where cost, family responsibilities and lack of support can otherwise make regular education difficult.

SUPPORTED BY

So far through the collective we have sponsored 124 girls and raised £31338.

Meet some of the girls

Roshni, Achuki and Rekha

ROSHNI

Roshni is 8 and in Class 3 at Sneh Girls Shikshan Sansthan. She lives with her father, siblings and grandmother, who helps support the family.

She loves environmental studies and hopes to become a teacher one day. She already enjoys helping other girls with their schoolwork.

Achuki

Achuki is 6 and in Class 1. She lives with her mother, grandmother and siblings. Since losing her father, her mother and elder sister have worked to support the family.

Achuki is doing well at school, loves animals and dreams of becoming a doctor.

Rekha

Rekha is 13 and in Class 6, and is Achuki’s older sister. She is a strong student who particularly enjoys animals, gardens and gardening.

Through Sneh Girls Shikshan Sansthan, Rekha receives free education along with books, stationery, meals, transport and other school essentials.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

There are around 200 girls at the school, all of whom rely on financial support to continue their education. Donations go directly to the school through the fundraising platform.
